Terms
These are the terms for our email campaign service. They are written to be read, so if anything here is unclear, email hello@business-leads.co.uk and ask.

Who you are dealing with
Business Leads is a trading name of Email First Ltd, which operates from Eastham Hall, Eastham, Cheshire, CH62 0AF. When these terms say we or us, that is the company. When they say you, that is the business buying the service.
This service is sold to businesses. It is not a consumer service, so the consumer cancellation rules do not apply to it.
What you are buying
We run outbound email campaigns for you. On the Business plan at a hundred pounds a week that means a consultation to work out your offer, your email written and designed, a landing page built for the campaign, prospect data, sending to ten thousand UK business prospects each working day, tracking of everyone who visits your page, and reporting.
The Professional plan at a hundred and fifty pounds a week adds the follow up campaign, which is a sequence sent to people who clicked through but did not get in touch.
Replies come straight to you. We do not answer them, qualify them or sell on your behalf.
What it costs and how you pay
A hundred pounds a week for the Business plan, or a hundred and fifty pounds a week for the Professional plan. Prices are in pounds sterling.
You pay for a week at a time in advance. There is no minimum term, no contract to sign and no setup fee. If our prices change we will tell you before it affects a week you have not already paid for.
Pausing and stopping
You can pause whenever you like, and people do, usually because they have more enquiries than they can work through. Tell us and we stop the sending. Nothing goes out and you are not charged for a week that has not started.
You can stop altogether the same way. There is nothing to give notice of and no cancellation fee. We will finish any week you have already paid for unless you ask us not to.
We may stop a campaign ourselves if continuing would put our sending reputation at risk, if the offer turns out to be something we are not willing to promote, or if the law requires it. If we do that we will explain why and refund any part of a week you have paid for and not received.
What we need from you
We need you to approve the email before anything is sent. We need what you tell us about your business to be accurate. And we need you to hold whatever licences, registrations or permissions your industry requires, because we take your word for that.
If you give us a list of your own contacts to add to a campaign, you are confirming you have the right to email them.
What we can and cannot promise
We can promise the work. The offer, the copy, the design, the landing page, the sending volume and the reporting are all things we control and they are what you are paying for.
We cannot promise results. We do not guarantee a number of replies, enquiries, meetings or sales, and we do not guarantee that any particular email arrives in an inbox rather than a spam folder, because that decision belongs to the receiving mail provider and not to us. Anyone in this industry who guarantees those things is guessing.
Reporting figures are our best reading of what happened. Automated security scanners open and click links in email, so we filter those out, but no filter is perfect and the numbers should be read as a strong indication rather than a precise count.
Who owns what
The copy, design and landing page we produce for your campaign are yours to use once you have paid for the week they were made in. The prospect data we send to is ours and stays ours, and it is not passed to you as a list. What you do receive is the details of the people who actually engage with your campaign.
We may describe the work in general terms as an example of what we do. We will not name you or show your campaign without asking you first.
Data protection
How we handle personal information, both yours and that of the people our campaigns reach, is set out in our privacy notice, and there is a plainer explanation of the data protection side on our GDPR page. Those form part of these terms.
If something goes wrong
Tell us. Email hello@business-leads.co.uk and it will be looked at properly.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, our liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us in the three months before whatever went wrong, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or lost opportunities.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will change the date at the top and tell you before the change affects a week you have not already paid for.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
