Terms of service

Last updated 11 July 2026

These are the terms for using Business Leads. They are written in plain English because we want you to read them. If anything is unclear, email us and we will explain it.

1. Who we are and what the service is

Business Leads is operated by Felix Clarke at Eastham Hall, Eastham, Cheshire, CH62 0AF.

The service is done-for-you B2B cold email. You approve the email, and we send one approved cold email campaign on your behalf. Every email goes from our own sending domains, never from yours. We track which recipients show interest, and each weekday morning we email you a report of up to 10 of the prospects who showed the most interest in what you offer.

Each campaign uses one approved email. We do not send follow-up sequences.

2. The free trial

The trial lasts 7 days and is free. Unless you cancel during the trial, it converts to a paid subscription at £9.99 a week.

Before your first charge we email you a reminder stating the exact amount and the exact date it will be taken, with a one-click way to cancel. If you cancel before the trial ends, you pay nothing.

3. Billing

The subscription is billed weekly at £9.99, taken by card through Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us. We never see your card number.

No VAT is added to the price. Business Leads is not VAT registered, so £9.99 a week is the full amount you pay.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel at any time with one click, from your account page or from any billing email. There is no minimum term and no notice period.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid week you are in, and the service, including your morning reports, continues until then. Weekly charges are not refunded in part: you get the full week you paid for, and no further charges after it.

To avoid the next charge, cancel at least one full day before your renewal date. The reminder email we send before your trial converts, and each billing email after that, tells you the exact renewal date and carries the cancellation link.

5. What you must not do

Using the service means agreeing to these three rules.

  • Do not use the service to target consumers. It is for business-to-business outreach only.
  • Give us accurate information about your business, and keep it accurate while you use the service.
  • Only advertise products or services you have the right to sell.

6. Our commitments and honest limits

We will send your approved campaign and deliver your morning reports as described in section 1. We are honest about the limits.

  • We do not guarantee replies, meetings or revenue. Results depend on your offer and your market.
  • Up to 10 means up to 10. The number in each report reflects genuine engagement. On quiet days the report is shorter, and it says so. We never pad it.
  • We may pause or slow sending when we need to protect deliverability. Protecting our sending domains protects your results.

7. Your use of report data

The prospect details in your reports are provided for your own lawful business-to-business outreach only.

  • Do not resell, publish or otherwise redistribute prospect details.
  • If a prospect asks you to stop contacting them, honour that immediately. Tell us as well, and we will add them to our permanent suppression list, which applies across all our customers.

8. Data protection

Our privacy policy explains how personal data is handled and forms part of these terms. In short:

  • We are the data controller for our prospect database, which is built from licensed providers and Companies House records. We contact prospects on the basis of legitimate interests, under the rules for corporate subscribers.
  • Your data as a customer is processed as set out in the privacy policy. Your signup details and the public text of your website are processed by Claude, an AI service from Anthropic, to draft your customer profile and email, under Anthropic’s data processing agreement. Your campaign data is not used to train third-party models.
  • Interest tracking uses our own click and open tracking on our own domain, not third-party pixels.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end the service if you break section 5 or section 7, if your payment fails and is not put right, or if your use puts our sending domains or our other customers at risk. Where it is fair to do so, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.

10. Liability

Our total liability to you under these terms is capped at the total fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. If we do, we will email you notice before the change takes effect. If you do not accept the change, cancel before it takes effect and it will not apply to you.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by English law, and any dispute will be dealt with by the English courts.
